Abbeyfield Caledon
Abbeyfield Caledon was founded in 2010. It is a non-profit residence for independent seniors that provides nutritious meals and peace of mind with 24-hour emergency assistance.
- With only 12 residents, Abbeyfield has a home-like atmosphere and is located in a residential neighbourhood in Caledon East. Residents are served home-cooked meals at lunch and dinner and help themselves to breakfast and snacks. The entire building is air conditioned and laundry facilities are available onsite for residents’ use. The shared indoor living spaces, as well as the outdoor courtyard, are used to gather and socialize.
The monthly fee of $2,150 includes all meals and a private 325 square foot suite with an accessible ensuite bathroom. It is important to note that Abbeyfield is not a long-term care facility and does not offer personal or nursing support. Residents are independent and able to maintain their own rooms and personal care.
